≋ DeepSynk

A room that is easy to join.

Start on the laptop

Open DeepSynk in an up-to-date desktop Brave or Chrome browser. Connect your devices to the same Wi-Fi and select Start a room.

Join on your phone

Open the Android beta app. Scan the QR code on the laptop, or enter its six-digit room code. Your speaker connects automatically. The app keeps playing with the screen locked.

Choose some music

Choose Share a music tab. In the browser picker select the tab playing the music and enable Share tab audio. Keep the DeepSynk tab open and your laptop awake. You can also choose an audio file. Stop sharing returns control of the original tab audio to the browser.

A short wait helps everyone stay together

Rooms with Android speakers start with a twelve-second shared buffer. Playback starts after it fills. Automatic buffering learns your connection and reduces the wait cautiously when conditions allow. Brief interruptions can be covered by queued audio; longer ones may interrupt playback.

Normal or Room effect?

Normal plays the original stereo song on each device. Room effect gently changes levels between speakers. If you enable it, choose where each speaker sits. Match their loudness with the volume sliders. The effect is horizontal movement, with no automatic room calibration.

If a phone will not connect

Confirm the room code and that the laptop page is open. Guest, hotel or school Wi-Fi may block devices from communicating. Try a home network. This beta prefers direct connections; relay availability depends on the service configuration. Bluetooth can add extra delay, so begin with built-in or wired outputs.

If music stops

Check that the laptop is awake, sharing is still active, and the phone has not switched to another audio app. If the host page reloads, choose Resume room to reconnect the same speakers. A locally cached audio file can resume near its last saved position; shared tabs must be selected again. Playback pauses during recovery and refills the shared buffer. The Connection details panel can export timing diagnostics without recording the song.
